1) What this covers (and where it applies)

This Limited Warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship of Lumina lamps used under normal indoor residential conditions. It applies to purchases delivered within the contiguous United States (we don’t ship elsewhere).

2) Warranty periods

  • Lamp body & assembly (3D-printed parts, hardware): 1 year from delivery

  • Electrical cord/switch/socket (third-party components): 1 year from delivery

  • Bulbs: Not covered as consumables, except Dead-On-Arrival (DOA) reported within 7 days of delivery

3) What’s included as a remedy

At our option, we will repair, replace, or refund (not to exceed the original purchase price) for verified defects covered by this policy. Replacement parts may be new or refurbished and may be of similar style/color if the original is unavailable. For approved claims, we provide a prepaid return label; if an item is found not defective, we may return it to you and charge the label

4) Safety & proper use (read this)

  • Indoor, dry locations only.

  • Bulb spec: E26 LED, max 15 W, 120 V ~ 60 Hz. We recommend a T32 warm-light LED (2200–2700 K).

  • Do not use incandescent or halogen bulbs.

  • Unplug before bulb changes or cleaning; do not use if cord, plug, or socket is damaged.

  • Keep away from flammables, hot surfaces, water/damp areas, and prolonged direct sun.

  • PLA may soften above 130 °F (55 °C)—heat can deform parts.

  • Do not leave the lamp on for more than 4 hours continuously; allow it to cool before handling.

Tip: The quick-read safety list also appears on Shipping & Returns and the in-box card.

5) What is not covered (exclusions)

This Limited Warranty does not cover:

  • Misuse, improper installation, manipulation of the electrical cable, neglect, accidents, or alterations/modifications (including re-wiring or hardware changes).

    • Please contact us before making any alteration. Any alteration voids this warranty.

  • Non-recommended bulbs or use over max wattage; incandescent/halogen bulbs; incompatible bases.

  • Heat-related damage (e.g., placement on/near hot surfaces, prolonged direct sun) or operation beyond guidance (e.g., continuous use >4 hours without cooling).

  • Cosmetic variations inherent to hand-made, 3D-printed products (layer lines, small texture or color differences, minor surface marks) that don’t affect function.

  • Third-party components outside their normal operation (e.g., bulbs after DOA window).

  • Commercial, outdoor, or damp-location use unless we approve in writing.

We use UL/ETL-listed electrical components, but unless a product page states otherwise, the assembled lamp as a whole is not UL-certified. Component listing ≠ product-level certification.

6) Third-party parts disclosure

We do not manufacture the electrical cord or bulb; these are sourced from qualified third-party manufacturers. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for defects in third-party components or for injury/damage arising from their misuse, modification, or incompatible use

7) How to make a claim

Email hello@numiadesign.com with:

  • Order number, purchase date, your name and contact

  • Product name/color and a brief description of the issue

  • Photos/video showing the defect and the full lamp/cord (for DOA bulbs: show lamp powered on)

We’ll confirm within 2 business days and send next steps. Do not ship anything back without authorization (RMA).

8) Timing

  • Report defects as soon as possible and within the warranty period.

  • DOA bulbs: report within 7 days of delivery

9) Proof of purchase

Warranty service requires proof of purchase from Numia Design or an authorized reseller.

10) Limits, implied warranties & state rights

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • Implied warranties (merchantability/fitness) are limited to the duration of this Limited Warranty.

  • We exclude liability for indirect, incidental, special, and consequential damages.

  • Except for our gross negligence or willful misconduct, we are not responsible for any damages caused by the lamp, misuse, manipulation of the cord, alterations, or use outside these guidelines.

  • Some states don’t allow limitations on implied warranties or exclusion of incidental/consequential damages, so these limits may not apply to you. You may have other rights that vary by state.

11) Wholesale / B2B orders

For B2B/Wholesale, this warranty mirrors the consumer policy unless otherwise stated in a signed sales agreement or invoice. Remedies are limited to repair, replacement, or credit at the invoice price; consequential damages are excluded. Inspection/notice required within 7 days of receipt (with photos). No returns without an RMA.
